STK Outdoors is a family-owned landscaping company driven by a deep love for the outdoors and a commitment to excellence. Founder Matthew King grew up working alongside his dad in construction and spending countless hours fishing, hunting, and camping—developing a lifelong connection to Florida’s natural beauty.
Matthew’s journey in the green industry began during summer breaks, cutting grass with his friend Joe from church. Those early days in lawn maintenance taught him the value of hard work, attention to detail, and pride in creating clean, well-kept outdoor spaces. Over time, that experience grew into a passion for transforming landscapes.
What started as a small lawn maintenance business has evolved into a full-service landscaping and hardscaping company serving Northeast Florida’s finest homes. Over the years, Matthew has partnered with one of the region’s top designers to install stunning custom landscapes. Over time, STK Outdoors has grown to specialize in paver patios, walkways, and custom pergolas, transforming ordinary yards into complete outdoor living spaces that balance function, beauty, and craftsmanship.
Beyond business, the King family is deeply rooted in faith and a calling to serve others. Matthew and his wife actively support Girls of Virtue & Men of Vision, a local ministry dedicated to equipping the next generation of young women and men in our city to be grounded spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially. They believe true growth begins with a strong foundation in Christ and that strong communities are built by investing in people and leading with integrity. That belief shapes how they serve, extending beyond the local ministry and into the broader community, as they seek to serve wherever God calls them.
That same foundation of faith shapes how they raise their two children—teaching them the value of hard work, generosity, and living out their faith through action.
